Become a Cemetery Supporter
Even if you cannot be at the cemetery in person, you can still be a part of the big community effort to protect and improve the historical South Brisbane Cemetery.
The volunteers work so hard at the cemetery but it does cost us money. We constantly need to replenish our stocks of community cleaning supplies such as brushes, bottles, gloves, gardening equipment, as well as supplying free refreshments and food for the Guardian Angels who attend the cleaning bees.
We also publish free educational books for young children, maintain a website, and pay ongoing access and copying fees for the Database and Mapping Project.
Revenue from our night tours helps cover costs, but we know there are many people out there who support the work but cannot help in person for various reasons. You can do your bit to protect this beautiful cemetery by helping to fund this important work by making a deposit from $5 up to as much as you wish, into our account (details below).
