Experience a night tour in a grand Victorian-era heritage cemetery!

We run a wide range of popular night tours at South Brisbane Cemetery and other select cemeteries under the banner of ‘Queensland Cemetery History Tours’. This is a great way to experience the unique atmosphere of a large heritage cemetery at night in the comfort of a group setting. Our friendly award-winning guides are happy to chat with you and answer questions, and pride themselves on presenting historically factual information.

Easy Access Tours
Easy Access cemetery tours (day or night) for groups who prefer an easier walking option, or are in wheelchairs. These tours last for up to 1.5 hours. They can be booked as private tours.

All our tours are not-for-profit and run by the Friends of South Brisbane Cemetery (Inc.) in a community partnership with the Boggo Road Gaol Historical Society (Inc.). Tours are conducted under license from the Brisbane City Council. All profits go towards our cemetery heritage projects and FOSBC community activities.
