The beautiful South Brisbane Cemetery is a wooded riverside park, a holy place, and a museum all in one. It opened in May 1870 and is the oldest surviving municipal burial ground in Brisbane, Queensland. Located in the suburb of Dutton Park, it is home to around 100,000 'residents'.
